Self-Cath catheters have a siliconized surface for smooth insertion.  Each catheter is made of flexible medical grade PVC and has smooth fire polished eyelets for patient comfort and ease of use.  Self-Cath Coude catheters are available in smooth curved tapered tip, the 600 series or curved olive tip, the 800 series.  This product is the 600 series with a tapered tip.  A convenient Guide Stripe indicates the position of the bent tip end of the catheter.

Key Features

  • Coloplast Mentor Self Cath Coude Catheter with tapered tip, fire-polished eyelets and a siliconized exterior to reduce friction during urinary catheterization
  • The catheter features a Guide Stripe in alignment with the coude tip to know the position of the coude tip during catheter insertion and removal
  • Not made with natural rubber latex
  • Drainage eyelets have been repositioned to the sides of the catheter

Self-Cath Catheters are intended for catheterization in individuals requiring bladder drainage as determined by their physician.  The catheter is indicated for those individuals unable to promote a natural urine flow or for those individuals who have a significant volume of residual urine following a natural bladder-voiding episode.
